Syracuse New Times

January 14th, 1971

Below is the January 14th, 1971 edition of the Syracuse New Times. In 1971, the Syracuse New Times was just three years old –  founded in 1969 by publisher Ken Simon (a 21-year-old senior at Syracuse University). Simon called it the “Orange Pennysaver” and later re-named it the “Campus Pennysaver” – but by the summer 1970 it was officially the Syracuse New Times.
