Family Fun Miscellany

Clinton Square Tree Lighting

Head on down to Clinton Square for the “Home for the Holidays” Christmas Tree lighting ceremony, joining Mayor Stephanie Minor with illuminating this year’s tree, which was donated by Kathleen Shaw of Clay.

Dickens Christmas

For its 22nd year, Dickens Christmas returns to Skaneateles, and it kicks off this Friday. Stop by for the annual tradition, whether it’s your first time or you’re re returning fan.

A two-part special event features a meet-and-greet and signing with executive producer and Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo at The Sound Garden at 2 p.m. The screening for the northeast premiere of the documentary about acclaimed bassist Jaco Pastorius will take place at 8 p.m. at The Palace Theatre. This special event has been brought to CNY by the combined efforts of Jazz Fest, Syracuse International Film Festival, The Sound Garden and The Palace Theatre.
