“Only More Relevant,” is a short documentary in four parts. The Redhouse Arts Center performed Shakespeare’s “Hamlet” in March but with an 80′s twist. The actors, some local, some professionals from New York City, share their experiences of the production and explain what techniques they used to take on their roles. In part one, Adam Perabo, who played Hamlet, talks about the preparation of memorizing the lines, the difficulties in relating to the events of the play and how being in the space with costumes, props and the other actors brings it all together.
In part two, Nathan Faudree, who plays Claudius, talks about the joys of playing the bad guy and how Redhouse helped save him from his own inner demons.
