“Father Knew Best,” Ed Griffin-Nolan’s moving July 21 article on the late priest Frank Woolever and his contemporaries, displayed an accurate appreciation of the man and his passions. But one must rightfully also acknowledge that the companionship and shared vision of his wife, Meme, and the generous support of his daughters, Heidi and Amy, helped keep him going. 

Additionally, there have been literally scores of “married clergy” serving in a wide variety of human and spiritual services locally. Perhaps the institutional Church can restrict the channels of the Spirit in its confines, but truly She moves wherever she will
. . . and continues to freshen the world with grace and hope.
