The acclaimed guitarist-troubadour does his acoustic blues-folk thing at two area venues this weekend. First Kevin So will visit the Nelson Odeon, 4035 Nelson Road, Nelson, for an 8 p.m. show on Friday, April 1.

They literally tore the roof off the stage of the Landmark Theatre. Demolition crews, under the watchful eye of project manager Aaron Walter from local construction company Hueber-Breuer, removed the top of the theater about two months ago. A new roof will eventually be put into place to accommodate the new stage that is 12 feet taller.
