Mayor Stephanie Miner presided over her fourth State of the City address on Thursday, Jan. 24, at Dr. Weeks School. While she preceded her talk with a pretty humorous video (find it at youtube.com), she also faced protest from city firefighters (below) over her proposal to close fire Station 7, which they claim is the busiest in the city. Miner faces re-election this November, and city Republicans are weighing their options and the chances that they could defeat her run for City Hall.
