An anonymous donor is providing free carousel rides through Feb. 3 on the antique carousel that dominates the northern end of the food court at Carousel Center Mall aka Destiny, USA. The contribution was made in honor of the 20 children and six adults who lost their lives in the Dec. 14 Newtown, Conn. shootings.

“When we heard about this generous donation from an anonymous individual, it humbled all of us,” said Rob Schoeneck, general manager of Destiny USA. “It reminds us that there are so many individuals who work hard each day to make sure children are having fun, are safe and well. It is greatly appreciated and will make many of the kids who visit our facility very happy.”
