Open Hand Theater continues its holiday collaboration with Salt City Center for the Performing Arts for Menotti’s popular operetta Amahl and the Night Visitors, done big-time puppet style. It will be staged this week at the First English Lutheran Church, corner of James and Townsend streets, on Friday, Dec. 7, 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, 2 and 8 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 9, 2 p.m., with another weekend of performances before its Dec. 15 closing date.
