Career-wise, this guy’s a moving target, with occasional acting roles (he’s buddies with David Lynch and John Waters) and a self-titled Showtime TV series on his resume. Yet Chris Isaak will always be about the music, as the singer-guitarist will bring his retro rockabilly rhythms to Verona’s Turning Stone Resort and Casino Showroom, off Thruway Exit 33, for an 8 p.m. show on Friday, Nov. 9, 8 p.m. Expect tracks from his recent album Beyond the Sun (Vanguard), Isaak’s salute to the Sun Records catalog.
