An Election Day tradition for 63 years, the Spaghetti Supper at the North Side’s Cathedral Academy at Pompei School cafeteria lures both parishioners and politicians to take a break from the campaigns and break bread with the public. An estimated 6,000 meatballs, hand-rolled by members of Our Lady of Pompei Church, will be served throughout the afternoon of Tuesday, Nov. 6, 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., at the church, 922 N. McBride St. Each pasta platter, which includes salad, dessert and beverage, costs $8 for adults, $6 for children ages 5 to 10, and free for the under-5 crowd.
