Movie maniacs can decide once and for all who is the supreme cinematic sawtooth at two screenings this weekend. Some choose Bela Lugosi (above), star of the 1931 classic Dracula, which will be screened in a 35mm print on Friday, Oct. 26, 8 p.m., at Eastwood’s Palace Theatre, 2384 James St. It’s part of the “Brew & View” Halloween edition, which also includes a showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, a dance party, spooky merchandise and more. Admission is $10 before 9 p.m. and $15 afterward. Call 436-4723 for information. Other fans of celluloid shockers select Christopher Lee (below), who headlines the 1958 Hammer Films entry Horror of Dracula on Saturday, Oct. 27, 7 p.m., at Rome’s Capitol Theatre, 220 W. Dominick St. Also on the 35mm program will be the 1958 schlock delight The Thing That Couldn’t Die. Admission is $6 for adults, $2 for children. Dial 337-6453 for details.
