The fourth annual Salt Market, formerly known as the Salt City Urban Art & Craft Market, this year joins forces with neighborhood organization Northside UP as it moves to a new venue, Learbury Center, 401 N. Salina St., on Saturday, Oct. 20, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Vendors will include jewelry makers, ceramists, stationery designers, illustrators, and clothing designers, along with food and beverages from local favorites such as Strong Hearts Café, Roji Tea Lounge (pictured) and Recess Coffee. Last year’s event lured more than 2,500 people, and Dominic Robinson, director of Northside UP, is stoked about the 2012 market: “We are thrilled to host one of Syracuse’s most celebrated shopping experiences on North Salina Street, which will bring hundreds of patrons to the North Side and will expose them to the neighborhood’s eclectic business community.” For information, visit saltmarketsyracuse.com.
