The runway fashion show known as Syracuse Style returns for an encore on Thursday, Sept. 20, 7:30 p.m., at the 100 block of Walton Street in downtown’s Armory Square. WTVH-Channel 5 newshound Michael Benny serves as emcee for the free event, which will be held underneath a sizable tent, and feature autumnal clothing by Salt City designers Lisa Marie Butler, Me’Lisa Jema Matthews and Beth Eischen. Fashions and accessories will be provided by downtown shops such as Spy Baby, Showoffs, Kenn Kushner Designs, Mr. Shop and more. Although the show is free, there are $50 VIP front-row tickets that also include a 6 p.m. pre-show party at nearby Empire Brewing Company, 120 Walton St., as well as an after-party, with proceeds to benefit the Mary Nelson Youth Day Foundation. For details, call 470-1962.
