Blues Fest

Central New York doesn’t come to mind when you say “blueberries” but a new festival at Critz Farms, 3232 Rippleton Road, Cazenovia might just change that. This successful agribusiness (especially during the autumn) presents The Blueberry Jam, a family-focused music and fruit festival. Live music from Boots N Shorts, Grupo Pagan and House on a Spring (pictured) and Hot Day at the Zoo will keep the adults happy while the kids can get stay busy with The Twin Musicians and The Songflower Man. Blueberry-themed foods, local craft beverages and the usual family festivities take place Saturday, Aug. 18, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, with children 12 and younger getting in free. 662-3355.
