Next up for the popular “Brew & View” film series featuring 35mm prints, which screens at Eastwood’s Palace Theatre, 2384 James St. will be a high school-themed double bill of two all-time classic comedies. On Friday, June 22, 8 p.m., director Amy Heckerling’s 1982 entry Fast Times at Ridgemont High offers a fun flashback to 1980s-era mallrats in Southern California, with Sean Penn (below) vaulting to stardom as surfer dude Jeff Spicoli. Following at 10 p.m. is Dazed and Confused, writer-director Richard Linklater’s 1993 comedy about his memories of high school in mid-1970s Texas, with Matthew McConaughey (above) stealing the show as the older, if not wiser, weedhead Wooderson.
