Summer Music Calendar

.
. . . . . .

Everyone has a favorite song they associate with the sweet season of summer. From the Raspberries’ 1972 Top 5 seductive smash “Go All the Way,” to various one-hit wonders like 1974’s “Beach Baby” by First Class and 1981’s “Sausalito Summernight” by Diesel to last year’s “Pumped Up Kicks” by Foster the People, these songs take you back to the warmest months with just a few opening chords. And why not? All you need is a peppy beat, a catchy hook and your car windows down to force you to crank up the volume. If you have a favorite summer music venue, or a favorite act you like to follow then this calendar is for you. Contact each venue for more information. For updates throughout the season, check out the Concert Calendar every Wednesday in The New Times and in its expanded form online at syracusenewtimes.com.
