Last year Blake Griffin dunked over a Kia Optima at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. This Saturday, March 10, 7 p.m., at Syracuse University’s Carrier Dome, fans can watch as Grave Digger, everyone’s favorite monster truck and driven by Dennis Anderson, jumps across entire fleets of cars, buses and whatever else stands in its way. Let’s see Mr. Griffin do that. Nearly 200,000 pounds of truck pile into the Dome for the second annual Monster Jam, an event that features 16 monstrous machines circling the Dome floor at reckless speeds, soaring over 125 feet into the air and smashing the occasional sedan. Admission for adults is $15 and $20, with kids getting in for $10, with $30 for VIP seats and $50 for front-row action. There will also be a “party in the pits” featuring drivers and their vehicles from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., for a $10 fee.
