Continuing a recent trend that features rockers performing their material in acoustic mode, Asbury Jukes longtime leader
John Lyons a.k.a. Southside Johnny will bring in his stripped-down show to the
Center for the Arts, 72 S. Main St., Homer, on Saturday, Jan. 28, 8 p.m. Accompanying Lyons will be frequent Jukes collaborators such as bassist
John Conte, guitarist
Tommy Byrnes and percussionist
Jeff Kazee, along with E Street Band violinist
Soozie Tyrell,
thus assuring that the Jersey Shore sound will still be represented
even during this intimate affair. Tickets are $30 for adults, $25 for
seniors, $15 for students, free for the under-18 crowd. For information,
call (607) 749-4900 or (877) 749-2787.
