The first American Idol winner, way back in 2002, visits the Turning Stone Resort and Casino Event Center, off Thruway Exit 33 in Verona, on Thursday, Jan. 19, for an 8 p.m. concert. The spunky singer (shown here during her 2009 performance at the New York State Fair) is touring in support of her fifth album Stronger (RCA), which means she can mine a deep catalog of pop- and country-flavored hits for her set list.
