Geared up: The Maryland hard rockers of Clutch are ready to make the mob go wild at the Westcott Theater, 524 Westcott St., Thursday, Dec. 29 as they pass through on their East Coast headlining tour. In addition to ruling the HFStival in Maryland this year, the band also branched into beer with the release of Clutch Dark & Sour Ale thanks to help from New Belgium Brewing Company. The group has toured Germany, Italy, Spain, Holland, Norway, France, Sweden and Switzerland and re-released their 2004 album Blast Tyrant (DRT Entertainment) on 181 gram double vinyl on Nov. 29. It’s been a big year for the boys, who will be joined by Corrosion of Conformity, Lionize and Kyng. Doors are at 7 p.m., show at 8.
