Forty-eight nominee entries for the 2011 Syracuse Area Music (Sammy) Awards have been received and distributed among 11 categories spanning pop to hip-hop. Potential winners are in the running for awards which will be presented on Friday, Nov. 11, (11-11-11, get it?), 7 p.m., at the OnCenter Ballroom, 800 S. State St. Tickets cost $15.
