Mysteries of the Great Lakes

.
. . . . . .

Let’s not page Sherlock Holmes to solve the intrigues that lurk within North America’s king-size inland freshwater lakes, which form the basis for the latest large-format travelogue to take residence at the Bristol IMAX Theater, located within Armory Square’s Museum of Science and Techonology (MOST), 500 S. Franklin St. Among the mysteries: why prehistoric creatures still exist in Lake Superior (pictured) and why do bull moose look so darned cute, at least to other bull moose. This week’s shows run Wednesday, July 6, through Friday, July 8, noon and 4 p.m.; Saturday, July 9, noon, 2, 4 and 8 p.m.; Sunday, July 10, noon, 2 and 4 p.m., and Wednesday, July 13, noon and 4 p.m. Admission for Mysteries of the Great Lakes runs from $7.50 to $11.50, depending if patrons would like movie-only tickets or to take in the MOST’s other exhibits. Call 425-9068 for information.
