The British guitar god is still rockin’ in his 67th year on this mortal coil, and he’ll prove it big time on Sunday, June 5, 8 p.m., when he takes the stage at the Westcott Theater, 524 Westcott St. Trower marked time in the late 1960s and early 1970s with Procol Harum, then with his own band scored a string of LP successes on the old Chrysalis label in the mid-1970s that included Bridge of Sighs (1974) and For Earth Below (1975). Opening for Robin Trower is Syracuse’s own illustrious ax man and his band, Mark Doyle and the Maniacs. Tickets are $30 in advance, $40 at the door.
