As you might expect, the 10th annual Free Comic Book Day offers lots of free four-color fun for kids of all ages at area comic stores during regular business hours on Saturday, May 7. This year’s free funny books range from the inevitable superhero-movie tie-in (including a Green Lantern saga that ballyhoos the upcoming Ryan Reynolds cinema adaptation, plus a Captain America-Thor team-up) to extra-special adventures with Archie’s gal pals Betty and Veronica, Kung Fu Panda and The Tick, plus retro appearances from Mickey Mouse, artist John Stanley’s vintage Tubby tales and even an edition of the Misadventures of Adam West!
