The ace guitarist brings his custom-made seven-stringer to the Westcott Theater, 524 Westcott St., for a hot show on Sunday, April 17, 8 p.m. Hunter, who has been creating albums since 1993, will be pushing the sonic delights of his recent release Public Domain (Spire Artist Media), a collection of old-school ditties such as “Meet Me in St. Louis” and “Limehouse Blues” that have fallen out of copyright restrictions. Drummer Eric Kalb will sit in during Charlie Hunter’s show, which will be preceded by the opening act MKGO. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door.
