Cold Comforts

The weather actually cooperated this year, making the just-finished version of Syracuse Winterfest an unabashed hit. Besides the jam-packed jam session that was Hammond Jammin’ on Sunday, Feb. 27, Upstairs at the Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, another highlight was the ice castle that Joe Borasky constructed in Clinton Square, in much the gradual fashion the State Fair sand sculpture enjoys.
