The recent animated feature gets the large-format treatment when the Museum of Science and Technology (MOST)’s Bristol IMAX Omnitheater, 500 S. Franklin St., begins a run of the superhero spoof. Will Ferrell voices the leading role, a not-so-dastardly alien villain at constant odds with caped crusader Metro Man (Brad Pitt), with a nosy newshound (Tina Fey) lurking on the fringes. The Megamind shows begin at Armory Square on Saturday, Feb. 19, noon, 3 and 7 p.m., with school-break screenings on Sunday, Feb. 20, through Wednesday, Feb. 23, noon and 3 p.m. Admission runs $7.50 to $11.50, depending if you want just the big-picture movie or perhaps take in the MOST’s other exhibits.
