The sassy, soulful singer-songwriter from the Great White North takes a southern sojourn to the Nelson Odeon, 4035 Nelson Road, in— where else?—Nelson on Friday, Jan. 21, 8 p.m. Still riding the heaps of praise that accompanied her second CD Low Fidelity (Slim Chicken), Levasseur is adept on guitar, piano, mandolin and accordion, with a lusty voice that sells every song.
Admission to the Odeon gig is $18; call 655-9193 for details.
And if you need a second helping, Treasa Levasseur drops by the Oswego Music Hall, located in the McCrobie Civic Center, 41 Lake St., Oswego, on Saturday, Jan. 22, 8 p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance, $14 at the door; and half-price ducats for children under 12.
