Paige's Butterfly Run

Also aiding in this year’s Paige’s Butterfly Run will
be book
signings with two Central New York authors as part of a weekend bookfair
at the Clay Barnes & Noble Bookstore, 3956 Route 31. Bruce
Coville, who has penned nearly 90 books for young readers,
including his latest, The Last Hunt, part of his Unicorn
Chronicles series, will be on hand with pen in hand on Saturday, June 5,
4 to 6 p.m. And Laurie Halse Anderson (pictured, above), the
popular scribe of Speak, 1793, Fever
and other tomes, will entertain her young fans on Sunday, June 6, 1 to 3
p.m. Readers are encouraged to visit the run’s website, www.pbrun.org,
to print a copy of the bookfair voucher, then buy a book, CD, DVD or
magazine at Barnes & Noble and hand the voucher to a cashwrap
attendant so that a percentage of the profits will go toward buying
books for the children’s hospital. (Vouchers are also good at the DeWitt
