Feeling logy from all that holiday cheer? Loretto and Infinite Light Yoga have just the cure: Yoga Awareness Day. Led by Infinite Light yoga guru Tony Riposo, the event takes place Saturday, Jan. 2, inside Cunningham Auditorium
at Loretto, 700 E. Brighton Ave., and it’s free and open to all.
Classes for all levels of yoga expertise will cover breathing, posture,
meditation and relaxation techniques. New in this, the second year of
Yoga Awareness Day, is Chair Yoga, taught from 10 a.m. to noon, and Yoga for Children,
available from 1 to 3 p.m., and focusing on kids from ages 4 to 8. The
entire event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For information, call 449-0040.
