Hip to be Square

Downtown Syracuse is the place to be on Friday, Nov. 27, for the annual Christmas Tree-Lighting Ceremony at Clinton Square.
Dubbed “Holiday Magic in the Square,” the fun starts around 7 p.m. with
yuletide songs from students at Delaware Elementary, dancers and cameos
from Frosty, Rudolph and the North Pole Clauses, all leading up to Open
Hand Theater’s Snow Princess as she flips the switch to officially
light up the imposing tree. It’s free, of course; call 473-4330 for
