St. John Fisher College

.
. . . . . .

That’s because Fisher has some of the best
advanced-degree programs anywhere. From business to education to
nursing, Fisher has 11 distinctive master’s programs and three doctoral
programs designed to expand your current knowledge base. Professors
have real industry experience and courses are challenging, with
intimate class sizes. Plus, many of the graduate courses are offered in
the evening and on weekends, to accommodate the schedules of working
adults. The graduate programs at St. John Fisher College strive to
provide academic specialization, breadth of understanding, professional
competence, and opportunities for research and professional projects in
the community.

The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)-accredited MBA program from the Ronald L. Bittner School of Business
may be the best business decision you’ll ever make. The MBA program is
designed for students who wish to complete their degree on a flexible
schedule in as little as one year. Requirements for completing the
program vary between 30 and 48 credit hours, depending on your prior
academic preparation. Courses are offered on weeknights and Saturdays.

The School of Arts and Sciences offers two unique
master’s programs in international studies and math/science/technology
education (MSTE). The international studies program instills in its
students a mastery of current and emerging global issues. The MSTE
program prepares students to deal with complex, real-world problems
whose solutions require knowledge and integration of several subject
areas.

The mission of The Ralph C. Wilson Jr. School of Education
is to provide educational experiences that prepare professional
educators for distinguished careers and leadership roles in a diverse,
rapidly changing society. It is accredited by the National Council of
Accreditation for Teacher Education (NCATE). The School of Education
includes master’s programs in adolescence education, childhood
education, educational leadership, literacy education, special
education and organizational learning/human resource development. The
school also offers a doctoral program in executive leadership.

The Wegmans School of Nursing is dedicated to
graduating professional and advanced practice nurses who will provide
expert, compassionate and ethical care, and be leaders in nursing and
the rapidly changing health care environment. Fisher’s Master of
Science in Advanced Practice Nursing offers three tracks: the family
nurse practitioner (FNP), the clinical nurse specialist (CNS), and the
nurse educator (NE). The Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling
is also offered through the Wegmans School of Nursing. The Doctor of
Nursing Practice (DNP) Program is an advanced practice clinical
doctorate, which reflects the evolution and development of professional
nursing.

The Wegmans School of Pharmacy program is a 2+4
program, leading to the Pharm.D. degree. Students must complete a
minimum of two years, or 63 credit hours, of undergraduate study at an
accredited college or university prior to making application to the
Wegmans School of Pharmacy.
