Roll Out the Barrels

Syracuse summers have become nearly synonymous with the seemingly non-stop string of gigs from local rockers Under the Gun at concerts hosted by the Waterbanks Event Company,
all of which have traditionally lured the party-hearty crowd. This year
the modern rock cover band will kick off the company’s newly announced Market Block Party on Thursdays from 6 to 11 p.m. at the Regional Market,
2100 Park St.; the series runs through Sept. 10, with four more UTG
dates to come. The season opener will also include performances from The Reissues and Adam Bingham on Thursday, May 14. Admission is free. For more information, call 652-2657.
