Lucky Seven

.
. . . . . .

If you’re not feeling lucky, but feeling hungry, Verona’s Turning Stone Resort and Casino is stacking the odds in your favor by offering a sweet deal at seven of their eateries during Restaurant Week, taking place through Friday, March 27, 5 to 10 p.m. Depending on how much you stuff yourself, you still might need to change that shirt off your back.

The Turning Stone restaurants participating in the promotion are Emerald Restaurant, Pino Bianco, Season’s Harvest, Forest Grill Steakhouse, Peach Blossom, Rodizio Churrascaria and Wildflowers at the Lodge. Evening diners will automatically receive 20 percent off of the total check (cannot be used in conjunction with other offers). The Emerald will also be showcasing items from their upcoming spring menu, so make room for the taste treats of Oneida strawberry spinach salad, sweet potato fries, Cuban panini and crab salad croissants.

Also, Turning Stone chefs will conduct daily cooking demonstrations at the Emerald’s lobby. On Wednesday, March 25, check out bakery pastry chef Lora Nozzi at 4:30 p.m., and Rodizio sous chef Desmond Farrell at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 26, features executive pastry chef Jennifer Di Giorgio at 3 p.m., Pino Bianco chef de cuisine Jeff Herring at 4:30 p.m. and executive sous chef Wei-Sen Liang at 6 p.m. Friday’s cooks include chef de cuisine Kevin Ford and sous chefs from Season’s Harvest at 3 and 4:30 p.m., and Emerald sous chef David Howe at 6 p.m.

Select musical entertainment will also take place between 5 and 10 p.m. Guitarist Tom Bronzetti will perform at Rodizio, The Julie Falatico Trio gigs on the patio at Pino Bianco and The Ronnie Leigh Trio will rock the lobby next to the Copper Lounge, sandwiched between the Forest Grill and Pino Bianco. And if you’re into making it a late-night affair during Restaurant Week, brand-name musical acts will make tour stops at the Showroom. Legendary jazz saxophonist David Sanborn will play with the funky horn group Tower of Power on Wednesday, March 25, 8 p.m.; tickets are $40, $45 and $55. On Friday, March 27, the man who’s been wishing he was with “Jessie’s Girl” since 1981, Rick Springfield, will also rev up the Showroom; tickets are $45, $50 and $60.

For restaurant reservations, call (800) 771-7711; to purchase concert tickets, call 361-SHOW.
