In a case of mistaken identity, combined with an online forum (an affiliate of the Syracuse Post-Standard) that is a festering rumor mill, our cartoonist Joe Glisson is not the Joe Glisson who was stabbed three times on the South Side on March 7. But in typical Glisson form, he laughed about it. “I have had a bunch of calls,” he said. “It is kind of funny, I guess. I’ve gotten calls from guys I haven’t heard from in 10 years.” At least now Glisson doesn’t have to appear on Jim Reith’s radio show to prove his innocence.
