Same as it Ever Was

.
. . . . . .

Previously located at 124 Walton St., within the confines of Armory Square, the store recently moved about a minute’s walk around the corner to the former home of American Music, 310 W. Jefferson St. On Thursday, Dec. 11, store owner Bryan Burkert (above, left) was joined by Mayor Matt Driscoll for a grand reopening ceremony attended by a throng of local Garden-heads who were treated to free pizza and beverages, and the best selection of music, movies and now video games available. But it is still unconfirmed if Mayor Driscoll ended up buying that copy of Frank Zappa’s Weasels Ripped My Flesh CD he was spotted eyeing intently. The new store will be open Mondays to Wednesdays, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thursdays to Saturdays, 10 a.m. to midnight, and Sundays, noon to 8 p.m. Call 473-4343.
