Few years pass in this neck of the woods without a yuletide appearance from 62-year-old Florida resident Benny “The Voice” Mardones at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino Showroom,
Thruway Exit 33, Verona. Mardones’ largest claim to fame, other than
accruing a hefty fan base in the Salt City area throughout his
multi-decade career, was the hit “Into the Night,” an enduring radio
staple that surprisingly charted in the top 20 of Billboard’s
“Hot 100" in both 1980 and 1989. Mardones’ fan foray will take place on
Saturday, Dec. 13, 8 p.m. Tickets are $30, $35 and $45. For
