An intense, bald-pated Syracuse
University basketball coach who bleeds orange and has a way with the
ladies? No, we’re not talking Jim Boeheim, but rather Quentin Hillsman, who last year brought the SU Orangewomen’s basketball team
to the national tournament level, only barely missing the grand prize.
The athletic females stake out two different turfs this week. First,
they take on Longwood University’s Lancers on Sunday, Nov. 30, 1 p.m., at Manley Field House, at Comstock Avenue and East Colvin Street; admission will be free CK. Then the hoops action moves to the Carrier Dome, 900 Irving Ave., for a contest against the Lehigh University’s Mountain Hawks
on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 7 p.m.; tickets are $8 for general admission, $4
for seniors and children 12 and younger. For more information, call
(888) DOME-TIX.
