If you just hafta have ribs with your
turkey, two racks of 13 ribs each will feed five to eight for an extra
$19.95 per rack. Other seasonal sides are also available for an extra
charge. 

Orders will be available for pickup on
Tuesday, Nov. 25, and Wednesday, Nov. 26. “Order early for best
availability as quantities are limited, and please allow at least 48
hours for ordering,” stresses Amorese.  

Items are precooked and placed in
disposable aluminum pans, with detailed reheating instructions
attached; blues band not included.

There are other things brewing at
Dinosaur. They have inaugurated a three-course, prix-fixe meal for
$18.95, which includes an appetizer, two sides, entree and dessert.
Entrees include a quarter-chicken, pulled pork, brisket or ribs, and
will be available Mondays through Fridays from 4 to 7 p.m.

Also, in its June 26 issue, Eating Well magazine named Dinosaur Bar-B-Que’s Sensuous Slathering Sauce
a Smart Choice for being lowest in calories and carbs, as well as tops
in both taste and texture. Out of a range of 1 to 5 stars for taste,
the sauce rated a 5. 

And Dinosaur’s Harlem location is
moving. The popular “genuine honky-tonk rib joint” favored by Manhattan
food critics opened in December 2004 and will be moving next summer
from 646 W. 131st St., to 126th Street and South Avenue. Columbia
University purchased the building for a planned expansion. “This is a
much better spot, since it is a corner location, just kitty-corner from
where we are now,” says Amorese.

It is also not too early to order from
the vast collection of holiday gift items from Dinosaur. Choose from a
variety of T-shirts for both men and women, hats, glassware and
barbecue sauce packages. And don’t forget the cookbook Dinosaur Bar-B-Que: An American Roadhouse (Ten Speed Press, 2001), a deal for $24.95.
