The 2008 season of Syracuse University football may not have been the
strongest (cough, cough), but head coach Greg Robinson’s struggle to
maintain his credibility is nearly over for this year. His Orangemen
will play the University of Connecticut’s Huskies for the season’s
final home game at the Carrier Dome, 900 Irving Ave., on Saturday, Nov.
15, 7 p.m. Rather than focus on the squad’s overall losing streak,
think of this year’s experience as a warm-up for a group of athletes
who quite possibly will be led by a new coach next season, since the
Connecticut bout could be Robinson’s swan song at the Dome. Tickets run
$36 to $106. For more information, call (888) DOME-TIX.
