Local vocalist Gina Lamparella, a
1988 Baldwinsville High School alum as well as a Syracuse University
Drama Department graduate, has made a career as a Broadway performer
since leaving the nest of Central New York. Lamparella has been part of
the 10th anniversary company of Les Miserables in addition to stints with Fiddler On the Roof and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and many gigs on TV soap operas. The singer will make a hometown appearance with the Le Moyne College Jazzuits vocal jazz group on Sunday, Oct. 19, 4 p.m., at Jazz Central, 441 E.
