Hard rocker Ted Nugent’s hunting
fixation, as expressed during his New York State Fair appearance this
year, likely inspired more than a few outdoor types to get out and
enjoy the autumn weather. Those who want more, however, are welcome to
check out the Carpenter’s Brook Fish Hatchery’s Fall Sportsmen’s Days on Saturday, Sept. 27, and Sunday, Sept. 28, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The
event will include demonstrations of various types of hunting, axe and
knife throwing, fishing techniques and dozens of other activities. The
hatchery is located at 1672 Route 321, Elbridge. Admission is $5 per
family. For more information, call 689-9367.
