Tipp of the Hi-Hat

.
. . . . . .

While Tipperary Hill is known as the
Irish Mecca of Syracuse, there are people from cultural heritages aside
from the land of Erin living there too, ya’ know? And that unobserved
fact will be showcased in the second annual Tipperary Hill Music Festival, taking place Saturday, Sept. 20, noon to 7 p.m., in the Pass Arboretum,
located across from the Burnet Park entrance on Avery Avenue. There
will be two stages set up on the grounds with music playing
continuously throughout the day and while there will be an homage to
the area’s Irish roots, there will also be several non-shamrock bands
gettin’ jiggy with it as well. Slated to perform: The Mario DeSantis Orchestra, Billy Delaney, Fabulous Ripchords, Z-Bones, Tom Dooley Choraliers, Kh’ Mi, Cliudan, Leif Olsen, TippHillbillies, Katy Gaughan
and more. There will be several local food and craft vendors , music
instruction, handmade instrument sales and a “Kids Korner” featuring
several activities to keep the tots occupied. Admission to the event is
free; for more information, visit www.tipphillmusicfest.org.
