Coach Greg Robinson will fete this year’s green Orangemen of the Syracuse University Football
team against the University of Akron’s Zips (feel free to laugh at the
team’s name) during the first home kickoff, to take place on Saturday,
Sept. 6, 3:30 p.m., at the Carrier Dome, 900 Irving Ave. While
Robinson’s run last year left a less-than-desirable taste in the mouths
of fans hungry for victory, and last weekend’s opener loss to
