Join Doug Brode for his return to The New Times,
not as a film reviewer, but the author of a graphic novel-type cartoon
strip that will debut in the Sept. 3 issue. With expert illustration
from longtime New Times contributor Joe Orsak (you remember
Captain Cuse, right?), Brode has crafted a strip featuring a female
