Al Fresco Bard

. . . . . .

Those who attended Syracuse Stage’s production of The Bomb-Bitty of Errors might have been left scratching their heads as to where the show’s crazy rappers came up with their material. You’ll have a chance to check out the source when Shakespeare’s hilarious tale of wife swapping and social leveling, The Comedy of Errors, is performed at the Thorden Park Amphitheatre, Ostrum Avenue, during the upcoming Syracuse Shakespeare Festival. Bring your picnic baskets and children out for some comedic summer fun, as there will be a play area set up for kids, with prizes given out to those age 12 and younger. This week’s performances are Thursday, Aug. 7, through Saturday, Aug. 9, 5:30 p.m., and Sunday, Aug. 10, 2 p.m.; more Thursday-through-Sunday shows take place through Aug. 16. Admission is free. For more information, call 476-1835.
