Nude Interlude

More than a way to show off your twig and berries, the annual, clothing-optional Northeast Naturist Festival draws hundreds of people each year to the Empire Haven Nudist Park,
5947 Sun Lane, Moravia. Experience fun in the sun with like-minded,
birthday-suit-clad compatriots, as participants get involved in a
Native American sweat lodge experience, get screened for skin cancer
and skinny dip in the local waterways. A variety of “new age” classes
and experiences will be available, as well as games, karaoke, drum
circles and other activities. Camping is available for overnight stays.
The festival begins Tuesday, Aug. 5, and continues through Saturday,
Aug. 9, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., concluding on Sunday, Aug. 10, 8 a.m. to 7
p.m. Registration fees are $40 for the duration, $15 for individual
