A local staple in the dietary mixup of Central New York summer festival consumers, the four-day Oswego Harborfest is slated to kick off in the city’s Breitbeck Park
area on Thursday, July 24, noon to 11 p.m. The annual festival features
music, craft vendors and a party-hearty atmosphere, as well as a
spectacular fireworks show on Saturday, July 26, that will attract more
than 100,000 gawkers. Highlights at this year’s shindig will include Starship with Mickey Thomas on Thursday, 9 p.m., at Breitbeck Park’s Labatt Lakeview Stage, Radio Disney fave Keke Palmer at noon and 1980s-era rock from Joan Jett and the Blackhearts at 9:30 p.m. on Friday, July 25, also at the Lakeview Stage, and local faves Dead Rose, Whiskey Mae and Under the Gun
at the Budweiser Rock Stage, East Second and Cayuga streets, on
Saturday starting at 8 p.m. Admission to the festival is free; more
