The in-vogue sound of bluesy pedal steel guitar will rule the aural landscape when Robert Randolph and the Family Band perform in the courtyard of the F.X. Matt Brewing Company,
811 Edward St. off of Varick Street, Utica, on Friday, July 18, at 7
p.m. Randolph got his start in the New York City club scene by bringing
the sounds of the church to masses. The band is currently hawking their
latest project, the raucous sounds of Colorblind (Warner Bros.).
