Blues Period

Legend-in-the-making, blues-rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa will perform Tuesday, June 17, 8 p.m., at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino Showroom, Thruway Exit 33, Verona. Bonamassa, originally from Utica, was named Artist of the Year by BluesWax e-zine in 2005, and the Best Blues Guitarist by Guitar Player
magazine in 2007. The blues prodigy started touring at age 12 and B.B.
King even asked Bonamassa to open for his 80th birthday celebration
tour in 2005. The guitarist will perform tracks from his seven solo
